Shipping
Shipping costs are based on actual costs, and are not pro-rated based on the value of the products. For this reason, we don't send out back-orders, unless the customer is willing to pay the shipping for it.
The products ordered through the web are sent out within 1-2 days for receiving payment AND confirmation of your totals by email.
You may also phone or fax in your order, and we will get back to you with totals.
We will need your postal code and Province / State for checking the shipping costs. If an item is on order, we will let you know when we get your order.
Shipping in Canada is by Canada Postal Service, Expedited Mail; a parcel should get to its destination in about 2-5 days. If you would like it sent any other way, please let us know.
Shipping to United States is by Canada Post; by Express or Expedited mail. Surface mail should arrive within approximately 6 to 9 business days.
Express Post takes between 3 to 5 days. Both methods are trackable.
International shipping
Orders for international destinations (outside Canada and the U.S.A.) will automatically be sent by Surface Insured mail unless otherwise requested.
Several options are available on request for shipping to international destinations.
The fastest method (and most expensive) is by UPS or Express Post. (depending on what service is available for that country)
Delivery time is within one week. Shipping by UPS internationally offers the advantage of being able to track the parcels. Unfortunately, it is also very expensive.
Express Post is offered if it is available, and if it is cheaper than UPS. Delivery time is about one week. This is a trackable service.
Surface post insured is the cheapest and also the slowest method. It may take up to 3 months to reach an international destination. Parcels sent this way are NOT trackable. If a parcel does not arrive by 3 months, we can than make an insurance claim for the order. This can take awhile. (over a month) You will be reimbursed once Canada Post reimburses us.
